My beautiful cousin Mojca Kren was selected as the next Wine Queen of Maribor just few months ago. She naturally needed a wine label to represent her family wine and since I am the best (read only) designer in the family, I got an opportunity to create something special for her. I have seen countless wine queen labels over the years and frankly they all look the same - vines, crowns, grapes, barrels...so, my mission was to create something more edgy and memorable, but still in a spirit worthy a wine queen title. And so I began...and days later came up with this logo and label. Whoever knows the Kren family logo will notice it in the queens hand, which ties in perfectly with being different, but still go back to the roots, back to tradition and family. The queen itself is done with very soft natural lines, which makes her warm and human - even though it is just a bottle with a bottle opener what we actually see.

I present to you the Old Charmer (Stari Šarmer in Slovenian). Old Charmer is a new liqueur brand on the Slovenian market that features two aromatic and tasty homemade varieties of schnapps. The light green-ish design label represents pear schnapps, light peachy label represents peach schnapps.
